We have chartered a bareboat in the British Virgin Islands for about a week following the wedding. We'll cruise up and down Sir Francis Drake Channel, visiting various
ports of call and beaches of the virgin islands. The possible ittinerary below is very likely to change.
DAY 1
|
Ferry over to Tortola. Pick up the yacht for an early morning chart briefing, Store the provisions and ready to depart the harbour and hoist the sails!
About a noon sail to Norman Island (Robert Lewis Stevenson wrote Treasure Island about this island, where pirate "booty" can still be found today).
Great snorkeling awaits on the westside. After exploring the caves and taking underwater photos of the colorful fish,
sail to the Bight on Norman Island. Try "Willie T's" (a floating bar and restaurant) for cocktails!

Weigh anchor, sail up the Sir Francis Drake Channel to Cooper Island. Pick up a mooring with a wonderful view of the beach and the Cooper Island Beach Club, pop a cold one and light the stern BBQ.
